Photo Friday—Southerly storm

As we say goodbye to Winter and hello to Spring here in the Southern Hemisphere, I thought it would be appropriate to dedicate this Photo Friday to a particularly chilly winter shot from New Zealand’s ever-impressive Southern Alps. There is nothing quite like being high up in the mountains and watching a cold southerly storm sweep through bringing snow and cold in its wake.

Right now we are trying to save money for our big road trip so we haven’t been heading to the hills as much as we normally would this winter, so I’ll have to make do looking at photos from previous years.

Although, all things going to plan, this should be our last winter for a couple of years 🙂
